Australia’s best tap water is revealed

Australia’s best tasting tap water has been revealed, after a panel of judges tested water samples from around the state for the Water Industry Operators Association’s annual tap water awards.

WIOA’s Craig Mathiesen said judges found it “difficult” to determine a winner, however, New South Wales ultimately took the crown for the best-tasting tap water in the state.

A water sample from Richmond Valley Council from the Swiss Casino Water Treatment Plant was the winning sample.
