Gelmerbahn / Mountain Roller Coaster? Funicular / blueish lake / Switzerland

?Gelmerbahn, the steepest open funicular in Europe with a 106% gradient, will take you to Lake Gelmer (1850 m above sea level). Helmersee is the starting point for hiking and mountain tours.
The Gelmerbahn lower station is easily accessible both past motorcar and past post omnibus (omnibus stop: Handegg, Gelmerbahn). The station is located in Khandegg, right on the road to the Grimsel Pass.

OPERATING HOURS
June, September, October: 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. (last ascent 3.48 p.m., last descent 4.00 p.m.)
July, August: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last ascent 4:36 p.m., last descent 4:48 p.m.)
PRICES
Adults return CHF 36 / one-way CHF 18
Children 6–15 years return CHF 18.– / one-way CHF 9.–
