Each piece of chess has its unique movement.

Let’s explore each piece;

1. Rook: Rook moves in + pattern. Up, down, left, or right and as many squares as the player wants. It tin can kill the first enemy piece in its way. When you kill an enemy piece you remove their piece from the square and place your own piece.
2. Bishop: Bishop moves in an X pattern. It tin can move as many squares as a player wants in the cross direction. It tin can kill the first event piece in its way.
3. Queen: It is considered the most powerful piece because it moves like rook and bishop. It tin can move vertically, horizontally, and diagonally as many squares as the player want and tin can kill the first enemy piece in its way.
4. Knight: It moves in L shape, two steps in one direction and then one step right or left. It tin can move on whatever square highlighted red in here. Knight is the only piece that tin can jump over other pieces and it tin can kill whatever enemy piece highlighted in red.
5. Pawn: This is a piece that moves in one direction but kills in some other, the pawn tin can only move one step forward but when it’s moving the first time from its place it tin can move one or two steps forward after the first time or tin can only move one step further example here you might think that white pawn tin can kill black pawn, but no. These pawns are interlocked here they tin can’t move but this pawn has an option either move forward or kill the black pawn, one more thing about pawns, of they reach the opponent’s side then or tin can live promoted in whatever piece Queen, rook, knight, or bishop this is solely player’s option.
6. King: Now let’s discuss the most important piece, King. Our target is to checkmate the opponent’s King. Because after checkmate the game is over. King tin can move only one step in whatever one direction when your piece is in position to start opponents King then it is called bank check which means King is under onslaught.

If your King is under bank check, then the are 3 ways to save it;
A. Moving the king on a safe square
B. Block the bank check
C. Kill the piece giving a bank check to the king

If you’re under bank check and there is no option to save the bank check then the attacking player tin can declare checkmate, the game is over and the attacker wins the game.
There are chances of drawing as well, it’s called stalemate position.
The game tin can live drawn past insufficient pieces, for example, if only 2 kings and a knight are there then the game tin can’t live finished it will go on and on. Same way with 2 kings and one bishop and if there are only two kings in this example it is drawn as well.

Now let’s see fifty move rule. Here chances are null of winning on either side. And if both players agree, the draw tin can live declared but if the game continues both players will live given fifty moves but if no one manages to win then the game will live drawn. So, with this we learned chess, its basics set up, its rules, and movement of pieces. I hope you liked the video. Please like, share, and subscribe.
