Deep Purple – Swiss Doco 'The Revolution' (1971)

A documentary for Swiss TV from April 1971 when the band visited Montreux Switzerland. Interviews with the band members and Claud Nobs (name checked in Smoke on the Water), asking them questions about the consumption of their music and whether rock and pop is just some other consumer product, to some interesting replies!

I was after this trip to Montreux that the band decided to return there to record in December that year at Claud’s Online Casino Swiss, but ‘some stupid with a flare gun…..’ well, you know the rest!
